Twenty Percent Sober came into being about 3 years after World of Warcraft was first released.

The founding members (Bonzo, Sazon, Magpawacar, Diet, and Malborn) were all refugees from Embers of Honour on Emerald Dream, and were playing on the realm Terenas at the time.

Alas, playing on Terenas was too dull, especially when we had mains and alts on Emerald Dream.. and so the decision was made to migrate back.

It was only a few hours after migrating that Bonzo, using the unconvincing pseudonym of Skaramoosh had recreated Twenty Percent Sober, and so we were born again!

So why "Twenty Percent Sober"?

'Cos it's a fairly safe bet that 80% of the players are drinking or drunk when we're online. Sheesh, we got to explain everything?
